Review Electric Bike Kit / Electric Tricycle Kit Clean Republic Hill Topper, Lithium, Zach

The yesterday. I'm looking for information on the Electric Bike Kit / Electric Tricycle Kit Clean Republic Hill Topper, Lithium, so i have to tell.

[* * below * Updates *] Hill Topper electric bike Conversion Kit (SLA battery version) so I recently received the Hill Topper Kit with SLA battery (sealed lead acid) that I purchased directly from the website. Shipping: shipping took about a week. box was a bit banged up, but everything was intact. wheel/tyre/engine: it's a hub motor to 250 Watts, the tyre provided it seems is a mountain bike tyre 26 ". and the circle looks like a generic circle. I don't have much knowledge about the quality of the wheel, but it seems sturdy enough ... I forgot to weigh the wheel, but I think it was stated to be about £ 4. installation: this States that kit can be installed quickly within 5 minutes. I guess it's true, if you have a rather generic bike with proper clearance for engine width and abandonment. If there is a problem of space, we need to do some modding; with washers/spacers and the dropout to create multiple deposit clearing width. Unfortunately for me, my bike had narrower width dropout so filed every end until the axis in snug. In addition, they offer a version compatible disc brake wheel. I ordered this option to fit to my Avid disc brakes, and everything went great! Overall installation time could have been less if I had a better file (used a small multi-tool file). It took me about an hour to get everything ready to go Setup. Although cable ties are provided, I bought some velcro straps to fasten cables better. (SLA battery): so I'm speaking only for the sealed lead acid battery. is quite heavy in 10.4 pounds! I have this version instead lithium mainly because of the cost difference. Read more ›
